Dastkhat app — anonymous stories with audio narration

Challenge

Writing honestly about personal experience comes easier when no one judges and no name is attached. Dastkhat wanted a space where writing or speaking a story requires no sign-up and no real name, while stories still reach the audience in a professional, listenable form.

Approach

• An installable web app (PWA) instead of a separate app-store app, for faster, store-free access
• A guest entry path ("just reading") alongside a real account, for people who only want to read
• A story-submission form by text or voice recording, with no name or phone number requested
• A story feed with topic categories (love, childhood, migration, etc.) and a custom audio player with adjustable playback speed
• Audio narration of every story in the Dastkhat team's own voice, published alongside the text
