Challenge
The client, based in the Czech Republic, had a WordPress archive of over five thousand recipes that had outgrown its content structure and media handling, with no room to scale. The core challenge was migrating this volume of content flawlessly to a new custom-coded structure — without losing the SEO of the old pages — and building an independent content panel for the team to keep working.
Approach
- Designed a new data model for recipes, lessons, categories and media suited to a large content volume
- A full migration script for content and images off WordPress, preserving old IDs and URLs
- A dedicated content panel, in the spirit of Sanjaghak Safar's: listing, editing and publishing recipes, lessons and media
- An analytics dashboard showing the most popular categories and publishing status for content planning
- A multilingual, multi-school structure (Persian, Chinese, French, Italian, etc.) extensible for future schools
Technology
- Next.js
- React
- Node.js
- WordPress data-migration scripting
Outcome
- Over 1,200 recipes and 126 lessons migrated successfully to the new structure
- A content panel that fully freed the team from WordPress and its limits
- Infrastructure ready to scale to tens of thousands of recipes with no performance loss
- A successful fully-remote international collaboration with a Czech-based client
